Joseph P. Sergio, Ph.D.
Partner and C.O.O, Polar Clean, LLC
Joe Sergio has served as the C.O.O. of Polar Clean, LLC since its split from The Sergio Corporation in 2011. He holds a B.A., M.A., and a Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior Management from the University of Notre Dame.
Dr. Sergio is a Certified Instructor with the Institute of Engineered Cleaning Solutions (IECS). He is an SQF Practitioner and is HACCP Certified. He is the author of numerous articles in professional publications. He is a safety expert, with TWIC security credentials, as well as, OSHA 10-Hour, OSHA Respirator, Lockout/ Tagout, Aerial Lift Platforms, and Confined Space training. He is trained in Mold Remediation and Oil Spill Clean Up. He has also completed Incident Command training from FEMA and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.

Theresa Sergio, RN
Partner, President & CEO
Terri Sergio began training for her impressive medical career in Neonatal Intensive Care soon after graduating Summa Cum Laude. She completed her medical training from the Memorial Hospital School of Nursing, was licensed as a Registered Nurse and certified in Neonatal Intensive Care in 1977. Over the next seven
In 1984, she became a NICU staff nurse, transport nurse and night charge nurse for Memorial Hospital where she served for the next 25 years caring for more than a thousand premature babies in critical condition. During those years she also joined her husband Dr. Joseph Sergio in his successful disaster restoration business helping to design and launch the Contents Restoration Division, which eventually grew into its’ own regional processing facility.

Arlie “Buster” Boggs
Founder of Polar Blast – Houston, Texas
Buster has over 30 years of Industrial Dry Ice Blasting experience in the Refinery, Petro-Chemical, and Power Generation Industries on the Gulf Coast and across the U.S.A. He was the first to introduce dry ice blasting services into these and other industries and has engineered a series of
Buster possesses a strong safety record and a vast expertise with a variety of industry equipment cleaning applications and with engineering media blasting solutions. On a personal note, Buster has been a Nationally Ranked Top Sportsman Drag Racer in the NHRA and IHRA and enjoys hunting and Harleys.

Sean Simpson
Director of Operations
Sean designs and manages Field Operations to ensure the delivery of safe, high quality services while meeting client time requirements. He is responsible for maintaining cost controls and plant/vehicle/supply maintenance; ensuring delivery of regulatory compliance programs and trainings, and assists in sales and marketing efforts, including tradeshows.
Sean has served as a Fire Fighter and advanced EMT, with duties including Customer Service, Emergency Medical Services, Fire Suppression, and Rescue. He has been a lead Water Restoration Technician. He holds a variety of OSHA safety certifications and has a TWIC security clearance.

Nathan Sergio
Senior Project Manager
Nathan holds a B.A. in Economics, with a minor in Computer Applications, from the University of Notre Dame. His breadth of oversight involves the overall coordination of operations, including client communications, department coordination with sales to ensure accurate operations orders, development of job-specific risk management plans, logistical support of the tactical field crews, efficient execution of the job scope, and briefing and debriefing of crews.
Nathan also utilizes his experience in Estimating, Information Technology, Intelligence Analysis, and Direct Sales. He holds a variety of OSHA safety

Brent Forte
General Manager
Brent Forte has over 11 years’ of experience in management, construction, quality assurance, and project management. His innovative mindset and passion to serve others makes Brent a great asset to our clients and Polar Clean’s team members. Brent is responsible for working directly with ownership to coordinate efforts by establishing procurement, production, marketing, field and technical service policies and practices. Brent also works to increase management’s effectiveness by communicating values, strategies, and objectives; assigning accountabilities, planning, monitoring, mitigating risk and appraising job results. He holds a B.S. in Marketing and Advertising from Indiana University. Brent also holds a supervisor development certification from the University of Notre Dame.

Luke Troyer
Application Engineer
Luke Troyer brings years of experience in business development, organizational change, leadership, and management best practices. He works at educating and serving clients, the development of core markets, project implementation, risk management, and coordination of sales operation. Luke places tremendous value on building meaningful enduring relationships in life and believes in the importance of reputation, trust, communication, and mutual respect within those relationships. He holds a B.S. in Business from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business where he triple majored in Management, Human Resources, and International Studies.
